In response to growing interest, we are starting a novel writing workshop! To get started, please fill out a short questionnaire that will be used to match you into small editorial groups. We will form groups of 3-4 people who are working on similar projects and are willing to swap pages and offer editorial feedback to one another. Our first meeting will be determined sometime in early July, where you will have the chance to meet your small group, bring pages, and talk about your project. Once we have collected RSVPs, we’ll get in touch to let you know the date of our first meeting, to be hosted at AAP at 71 5th Avenue, second floor.

It’s time to send your writing out into the world. Join other writers as we polish our cover letters and hit send on our precious stories! We’ll have a grid of places to submit. Drinks and food will be provided for the nerves.

Please join YPG Writers on Thursday, March 29 for our first Open Mic event. We want to give writers an opportunity to read an excerpt from their work. We welcome all genres. This event is intended to be supportive and fun and—if the writer wishes for feedback—constructive. Come enjoy snacks, mood lighting, and tales from your publishing colleagues and friends.
